CHEMIST’S RECIPE FOB COLD CURE. Bought cough mixtures contain much water and sweetening. Save substantially by purchasing the concentrated medicinal essence, and diluting it yourself. A half-crown bottle of Heenzo (Hean’s Essence) added to water, sugar and treacle, as directed, makes a whole pint equal to eight ordinary-sized bottles costing about 12/6. Pleasant to take, safe for the youngest. Splendid for coughs, colds,- ’flu, etc. Josts 2/6— saves £’s. If unobtainable, send 2/6 ta Heenzo, Box 1490, Wellington. Parties of provincial schoolchildren visiting London, up to 200 a day, can now stay at the hostel in Regent’s Park, which is housed in the old home of St. Dunstan’s.
