PERSONAL ITEMS. Mrs. W. R. Birch, Hapua, has been spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs. F. E. Fleury, Martinborough, spent the week-end with the Misses Brown, Church 'Street. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Holmes, Matahiwi, have returned from a visit to Wellington. Captain and Mrs. E. White, Matahiwi, have been visiting Wellington. Miss K. Bagge, Cole Street, spent the week-end at Khandallah. Mr. and Mrs. J. Read, of Gisborne, jvho have been visiting Mrs. A. W. McKenzie, Ren all Street, have returned horned Mis?,. M. Allan, who for several weeks has been the guest of Mrs. E. Hunter, Coradine Street, if now visiting Mrs. H. Haggitt, Whakataki.
