BOUT ENDS IN FIRST ROUND. (Received This Day, 0.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 16. At the Stadium to-night the American, Tod Morgan, 9st. lljlbs., knocked out the Welshman, Tommy John, 9st. 7}lbs., in the first round with a left hook to the jaw, which floored John for nine. He was sent down again for the full count half a minute before the bell.
