ST. MATTHEW’S SCHOOL.
PARTY FOB THE CHILDREN*. I There was a large attendance at the children’s party organised by the Parents’ Association of «St. Matthew’s Collegiate (School for Girls and held in ; the Assembly Hall on Saturday afterInoon. The 'children were kept fully engaged in games, dancing, etc., under the able direction of Miss Blennerhassett, assisted by Mary Logan, Roma Hore, Barbara lorns, and Cynthia Smith, pupils of the school, and other willing helpers, the music being supplied by Mr. B. Iveson. The children sat down to a dainty spread, which was in charge of a committee of the Parents’ Association, who each did excellent work in entertaining the children and seeing that they thoroughly; enjoyed themselves. It was a most successful party in every way. * Mrs D. T. Herbert, as secretary, did excellent work. Later in the evening a very successful party was held, at which older children were present, splendid work being done by a committee of the Parents’ Association in entertaining the children. Supper was provided, and the chidlren thoroughly enjoyed the function.
