WEATHER REPORTS.
Masterton: Miss Robinson reported as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday: Barograph, 29.90; shade temperature, maximum 57.6, minimum 48.6; terrestrial, 45.8; sunshine, 48 minutes; rain, 33 points.
Solway: Mr. H. M. Boddington. reports that 52 points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o’clock yesterday morning. The Government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) reported at 4 p.m. yesterday ;—Another depression has been crossing the Dominion to-day, while a rather intense anti-cyclone covers Eastern Australia and the Western Tasman. Forecast: Winds, moderate to strong westerly to south-westerly, reaching gale force in exposed positions. Weather unsettled and cloudy, with rain in most districts. Hail in places. Snow on ranges. Temperatures becoming cold.
