COSY THEATRE.

“NO FUNNY BUSINESS.” Gprtrude Lawrence and Laurence Oliver head the cast of “No Funny Business,” the British Dominion’s comedy which comes to the Cosy Theatre this evening. Gertrude as a discontented wife, wedded to one of nature’s most servile husbands, and Laurence, as a professional co-respondent, provide a whole feast of fun. The film, it is said, develops into a regular melange of mirth, which is not eased by the appearance of Edmund Breon, who philosophically talks his grievances over with the wife’s pet Pekinese, a canine thoroughbred, who by his excellent behaviour before the movie “mike,” earned the studio staff’s favour by being classed as a real gentleman. Two excellent song numbers, “No Funny Business” and “What’s a Little Kiss Among Friends?” are amongst the high spots of the film. Seats may be reserved at Perry’s, ’phone 2496.
