France, replying to the Japanese Note regarding policy towards China, declares that she is satisfied with Japan’s affirmation, not only of the principles of international law but of the conventional statute regulating China’s foreign relations and expresses the conviction that Japan, in conjunction with other Powers, would seek a solution of the difficulties threatening order and justice in the Far East in conformity with the NinePower Treaty.
