: ELECTIONS OF COMMITTEES. ADDITIONAL RESULTS. In addition to those already published the following school; -committee* were elected on Monday night:— MANGAMAIKE. Messrs. M. R. Lawson (chairman), J. J. Bresnahan (eecretoqy and treasurer), G. Wilson, P. Luaas, L. Wills. MAURICEVILLE. WEST. Messrs. F. Newman (chairman and secretary), H. Trass, J. Williams, J.’ McKeown, N. Neilson, j. The following motion was carried unanimously:— “That this meeting of< householders . registers its protest igninst the exclusion of 5-year-olds, la and considers . that schools should be-' reopened to > children of that age.” TINURj Messrs: R. The following ros.detian was parsed: “That this meeting urges that the time ■ has now arrived for the removal of the school entrance age. of six years and for the reinstatement of the original entrance age of fiv*. -years.” PONGAROA. .
