COMPLETE INQUIRY ORDERED IN U.S.A. TO DETERMINE CAUSES OF DIFFICULTIES. COMMITTEE OF AERONAUTICAL AUTHORITIES. WASHINGTON, March 13. The Secretary of War, Mr. G. Henry Dern, to-day appointed a special committee of aeronautical authorities, including Colonel Lindbergh and Messrs. Clarence Chamberlain and Orville Wright, to determine the causes of the Army’s difficulties in handling air mail. Mr. Dem asked expressly for a study of the air corps’ equipment, training and personnel. The committee will be authorised to call witnesses, to take testimonies and establish deficiencies.
