The New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following advice from its London House, dated March 6:—Wool sales: There was a full attendance at the opening of the sales to-day, competition by Home and Continental buyers being fairly active. The Bank of Australasia has received the following cable from Messrs Balme and Thomas, London, dated March 6:—London wool sales: Merinos par 5 per cent., fine cross 5 per cent., medium and coarse 10 per cent, below January, slipe fine unchanged, medium and coarse 5 per cent., 10 per cent., below January.
