HUGE AIRPORT

CONSTRUCTION OVER LONDON STATIONS. BIG SCHEME IN FINAL STAGES. TOTAL COST FIVE MILLIONS. RUGBY, March 7. The final stages have been reached in representations for the presentation of a Bill to Parliament to obtain sanction for the construction of an airport covering King’s Cross and St. Pancras railway stations.

The company promoting the scheme states that the aerodrome will cost £5,090,000 and will give employment for some years to 9000 workmen and will be used, it is estimated, by 1000 people daily. The scheme has received the general approval of the Air Ministry and the Ministry of Transport and the chief railway companies.—(British Official Wireless).
