Two East Torrens batsmen were injured in tire district cricket competition semi-final between Torrens and Adelaide, when the fast bowler Tobin resorted to leg-theory. R. Nitschke, hit on the head, fell on his wicket and suffered a deep cut an inch long. He was taken to hospital. H. Nitschke was hit on the hand and the bone was broken, WICKET DAMAGED. SENSATION IN INDIAN MATCH. COLOMBO, February 25. Clark’s action in damaging the wicket in the M.C.C.-Ceylon and India match has caused a sensation.
