CONCENTRATION OF ARMED LEGIONARIES. TROOPS SENT TO THREATENED) POINTS. AUSTRIAN GOVERNMENT TAKES ACTION. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. The British United Press Vienna correspondent says the Government is informed through the Heimwehr that ten thousand of the so-called Austrian Legion of Bavaria were concentrated on the Austrian frontier, mbinly at Braunau, Herr Hitler’s birthplace. They are heavily armed, ready to cross the border at any moment. The Government is sending troops towards the threatened points. BODIES IN DANUBE. MYSTERY POSSIBLY SOLVED. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) VIENNA, February 23. Thirty-nine bodies have been found in the Danube where a sewerage canal empties into the river. It is believed they were carried down by the thawing snow-. The discovery probably explains the mystery of the disappearance of many Socialist dead. REMANING A REPUBLIC. DECLARATION BY DOLLFUSS.
