Masterton: Miss- 81. Robinson. reportr ed as follows for the 24 hours ended ■9 a.m. yesterday:—-Barograph, 30.20; shade temperature) maximum, GSA; minimum, 60.4; terrestrial, 01.2; rain, 79 points. Solway: Mr. HL M. Boddington reports that 90 points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o'clock yesterday morning. The Government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) reported at 4 p.m. yesterday:—A band of low pressure now lies over the Dominion, while anti-cyclones are situated to both east and west. Forecast: Winds, north-west to northerly, strong on parts of the coast; otherwise light to moderate, backing to southerlies within the next twenty-four hours- Weather: Cloudy to overcast, with mist or fog in places; fairly general rain probable. Some heavy falls and possibly thunder in places. Temperatures warm; becoming cooler tomorrow. Sun rises, 5.31 a.m.; sets, 7.30 p.m. Lighting-up time, 8.0 p.m.
