CONTEST FOR HARMSWORTH TROPHY. SCOTT PAINE READY. VANCOUVER, August 29. A message from Algonac, Michigan, i states that Mr. Scott Paine will not start the motors of his Miss Britain 111 again until the time for the first Harmsworth Trophy race on Saturday. On Tuesday he said: “My boat is performing beautifully. It is not necessary to take any needless chances. I am ready for the race.”
