(To the Editor.) Sir, —I was very interested in reading Mr. J. MacFarlane Laing's letter in your paper this morning expressing his views on Trust matters. It is certainly a most refreshing change to have a candidate for the Trust coming out in the open and having the temerity to express his views. As a Trust Lands Trust voter, I thoroughly agree with and endorse his statements. I was quite of. an open mind whom I would support, but after reading his statement, I don’t think there is any question who is the right candidate for the Trust.—l am, etc., “TRUST VOTER.” | Masterton, August 30.
