Morris Cup match.—Gladstone v. Old Girls A, at Gladstone, at 2.30 p.m., Messrs. Burnip and Bannister. Excelsior v. Old Gjirls B, at Lansdowne No.. 1, at 2.30 p.m., Mr. A. E. Bate. Old Girls’ Team. The following is the Old Girls’ team to meet the holders of the Morris Cup: Misses P. Williams, T. Smith, D. Gillespie, B. Rippon, N. Smith, E. Hubbard, U. Holtham, H. Bell, T. Rippon, M. Smith and M. Goodhue. Bus will leave Post Office at 1.45 p.m. WAIRARAPA REP TEAM. MATCH AGAINST BUSH. The sole selector, Mr. E. W. Tooby, has selected the following players t# represent Wairarapa against Bush, at Woodville:— Goal, Gj Tildesley (Dalefield); fullbacks, W. Cumming (Carterton), P. Watts (Kiwi); half-backs, Knutson (Dalefield), B. Whitburn (Carterton), Keedwell (Greytown); forwards, F. Williams (Stags), J. Brooks (Greytown), Bennett (Stags), R'. Foster (Kiwi), S. Fisher (Carterton). Reserves: C. Bannin (Grey town), E. Steer (Kiwi), L. Hooper (Valley). Any player not available must notify the selector or secretary of the association at once. Mr. C. N. Cole will accompany the team as manager. AUCKLAND REP& MANAWATU DEFEATED. \ PALMERSTON N., August 29. In a representative hockey match to-day the Auckland touring team defeated Manawatu by six goals to three. The Manawatu team was not the same as will challenge Auckland for the New Zealand Shield.—(P.A.)
