LOST AIRMAN.
NAUER DROWNED IN CONGO. CAPETOWN, August 2S. It has been definitely established that the Swiss airman Nauer was drowned in the Congo on August 6. (The Swiss airman Carl Nauer, who flew from Zurich to Australia, left Capetown at dawn on August 5, hoping to lower Amy Johnson's record to London. On August 9; Du ala, in the Cameroons, telegraphed that nothing had been seen of Nauer since he left Mossamedes. A number of rescuers volunteered to search.)
