McKenzie, has chosen the following Wairarapa representative Rugby team to play Otago at Memorial Park on Wednesday: Full-back: L. Roach (Old Boys). Three-quarters; L. Tilley (Featherston), C. Stringfellow (Greytown), J. Hemi (Featherston). Five-eighths: D. Nunn (1) (Gladstone), F. Fitzgerald (2) (Carterton). Half-back: I. Booth (Gladstone), or A. Steffert (Carterton). Forwards: First row, E. Donald (Featherston), K. Reid (Carterton), R. Howard (Red Star); second row, M. Devine (Red Stars), F. Smith (Carterton), M. Trass (Carterton), G. Laing (Old Boys); third row, G. Keeble (Red Stars)., Reserves: Baeks, Miller (Martinborough), Strange (Featherston); forwards, M. Parker (Dalefield), W. Stringfellow (Greytown). The team is to assemble at Memorial Park at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday and players are to provide their own black shorts. Any players not available are requested to notify the selector immediately. SATURDAY’S MATCHES. CARTERTON v. FEATHERSTON. At the Carterton Showgrounds next Saturday Carterton will play Featherston in a championship game. .. .On September 16 the winner of the CartertonFeatherston match will meet Gladstone to decide the championship. The following Redmond Cup elimination games will be played next Saturjlay: Dalefield v. Gladstone, at Gladstone; Greytown v. Old Boys, at Masterton; Red Star v. Martinborough, at Martinborough. In a Pearson Cup match next Saturday, Red Stars will meet Masterton, juniors, at Masterton.
