RAID AT DAWN.
MANY COMMUNISTS ARRESTED IN AUSTRIA SOLDIERS INVADE MINING TOWN. (Received Tuesday, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. The “Daily Mail’s” Vienna correspondent reports that armoured cars conveying three hundred soldiers awakened the salt mining town of Hallein at dawn. The troops searched the houses, seized communications and found large stores of arms and ammunition. Many Communists were arrested.
