BIVERSIDE CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. APPLICATIONS FOB MEMBERSHIP' The president, Mr. F. Eu Wells, presided over a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Riverside Golf Club, held last night.■ The annual report, previously published, and which recorded a successful season, wasadopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr. W. J. Palamontain; vice-president, Mr. W. Batty; cub captain, Mr. Ik Einamp auditor, Mr. W. J. Beresford; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. V. Madden; committee, Messrs Bell, M. A. Rawlings, F. E. Wells, E. Einam, H. Keisenberg, W. J. Beresford, F. B. Henry, Mrs ML A. Rawlings, Miss R. G. Bradley. A lengthy discussion took place on the question of the membership of the club. Applications received at the meeting brought the prospective membership up to 96, which' was considered’ too great for the links. It-was decided eventually to limit the membership lo 86 and to allow for the enrolinent of 20 associate members. The associate members will pay an entrance fee of £1 Is and a subscription of IDs 6d. They will not be allowed to take part in the club competitions, played on Saturdays, and will not be given a vote at general meetings. It was decided to open the season the first Saturday in April and to play a mixed foursome.

A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring president fiOr his excellent work in the interests of the- dub.
