MUNICIPAL ELECTION.

SUPPLEMENTARY ROLL BEING PREPARED. A supplementary municipal roll is now in course of preparation and residents who have not satisfied themselves that they are enrolled should make a point of doing so. The supplementary roll will close on April 5 at 5 p.m. The poll, if necessary, will take place on Wednesday, May 3, and nominations are timed to close ten days before polling date. If the Municipal Consolidation Bill now before Parliament is passed the coming election will be the last one for a biennial term of office, as the Bill amends the term to a triennial one. Thus the 1935 election will be for a three years’ term of office.
