Thanks are also due to our secretary, Mr. W. V. Madden, for the able way in which he has carried out his secretarial duties. We specially mention with appreciation the courtesies received from the executives and members of the Bideford and Solway Golf Clubs. We played a match and a return match with each, which contributed in no small degree to a very pleasant season. We would also express our gratitude to the Press for the generous way in which it has accepted the weekly draws and full reports given of competitions, etc. —For the committee, F. E.
