RUGBY REFEREES.

ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL

MEETING.

The annua) meeting of the Wairarapa Rugby Referees Association was held at Carterton on Thursday evening, the president, Mr. P. Reid presiding.

The report of the past season’s operations recorded a euccetuAil period. Mr. W. Spooner was appointed delegate to the annual conference of the New Zealand Rugby Referees Association.

Messrs V. Welch, J. Cosgrove, W. Bishop, and J. Perry were elected members.

Members who had assisted in the transport of referees during the qeason with their ears were accorded a vote of thanks. 1

The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. P. Reid; vice-presidents, Messrs W. Grigg, H. Evans, E. Brown, P. Ryan; secretary, Mr. H. Matson; executive, Messrs P. Roid, H. J. McKenzie. H. Matson; vice-president New Zealand Referees’ Association, Mr. N. S. McLeod; appointment committee, Mr. H. Matson.
