EMPIRE PRODUCTS.
DISTRIBUTION TO CONSUMER DIRECT. DELEGATION ON TOUR. SYDNEY, December 23. A delegation representing the Empire Farmers' Co-op., Ltd., leaves London on January 12, and visits New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. Mr. E. Hardy Johnston, who has been appointed attorney in Australia, explained that the delegation consists of Lord Strathspey as chairman, Mr. C. Moiland, vice-chairman, and Mr. James Walkington. managing director. The organisation has been formed for the establishment of chain retail shops in Great Britain, where Empire products will be handled, and distributed direct to the consumer.
