NAVAL AMENDMENTS.

TREATY POWERS CONFERRING. RUGBY, December 20. Questioned in the House of Commons regarding disarmament, Captain Eden, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, referred to the resolution of tho Disarmament Conference which invited the Powers, parties to the Washington and London Naval Treaties, to confer, and stated that conversations had accordingly been taking place and further efforts had recently been made by the British and American delegations to discover a solution of outstanding difficulties. He added that tho conversations would continue, but there was no question at present of holding a meeting of these Powers. He also stated that no decision had yet been taken as to the holding of another meeting of the five Powers who recently conferred at Geneva on the work of the Disarmament Conference. —(British Official Wireless.)
