OBITUARY.
PROFESSOR JOHN GLAISTER. LONDON, December 18. Scotland’s leading medical crime expert, Professor John Glaister, succumbed to the influenza epidemic. His wife died three hours later of influenza, unaware of her husband’s death. Their daughter, who is married to Professor Woodruff, of Melbourne, had arranged to leave Australia on December 25 to visit her parents. (Professor Glaister was 76 years of age. He was medico-legal examiner in Crown cases. His works on hygiene, toxicology and public health, and medical jurisprudence are standard.)
