COSY THEATRE.
“THIS RECKLESS AGE” “This Reckless Age,” the feature picture in the programme is to be tehown again at the Cosy Theatre this evening, is Paramount’s filmisation of Lewis Beach’s stage success “The Gfoose Hangs High.” It is a sentimental comedy drama of parents who have dedicated their lives to supplying every want of their children, who in turn, following the “jazz” trend of this reckless age, give slight consideration to the gruelling selfdenial of their parents. The dramatic story is pleasantly leavened with hupiour and works through many interesting complications to a striking conclusion. “This Reckless Age” has an excellent cast with Charles “Buddy” Rogers, Miss Shannon, Richard Bennett, Charlie Ruggles, Miss Dee and Frances Starr in the featured roles. Richard Bennett and Frances Starr are the old fashioned, indulgent parents of two ultra-modern children. Clashing ideas of conventional and modern conduct upset the domestic equanimity, tears flow, laughs follow and audiences sympathise with both sides. Seats may be reserved at Vare’s, ’phone 1333.
