WAIRARAPA REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. BUSH AND EAST COAST. The Wairarapa A and B representative Rugby teams will play matches against Bush and an East Coast SubUnion team, respectively on Saturday next. The A team will play at Carterton and the B at Tinui. The following are the teams, chosen by the sole selector (Mr. E. McKenzie): — A Team.—Full-back, L. Roach (Old Boys); three-quarters, P. Burgess (Carterton), C. Stringfellow (Greytown), F. Fitzeragld (Carterton); five-eighths, R. Devine an.l B. Clarke (Rod Star); half, D. Nunn (Gladstone).
Forwards.— First row, G. Keeble (Red Star); F. Anderson (Carterton), J. Flutey (Greytown); second row, M. McGregor (Gladstone), L. Roff (Red Star), K. Fairbrother (Dalefield), M. Devine (Red Star). Rover.—M. Parker (Dalefield). Reserves.—Back, R. Cleland (Dalefield); forward, W. Aitken (Old Boys). Players are to assemble at the Marquis Hotel, Carterton, at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. B Team.—Full-back, F. Clarke (Red Star); three-quarters, Johnson (Featherston), A. V. Jury (Greytown), A. McKay (Gladstone); five-eighths, W. Clark (Greytown), J. Denby (Carterton; half-back, G. Matthews ’(Featherston). Forwards.—First row, E. Woodill (Dalefield), I. Sutherland (Red Star), A. Ewington (Red Star); second tow, C. Roseyth (Dalefield), C. Seivers (Carterton), Gundy (Featherston), R. Howard (Red Star); rover, W. Taylor (Carterton). Reserves.—Back, Hosking (Featherston); forward, Pickering (Masterton). The team is to travel by thus, leaving Carterton at 9 a.m. EAST COAST TEAM. Following is the East Coast SubUnion team:— Full-back, I. Harvey (captain); three-quarters, I. Speedy, W. Innes, M. Paku; five-eighths J. Read, J. Akuira; half, J. Innes; forwards, J. Bonnett, R. Johnson, F. Street H. Morris, R. Munro, J. Hanaray, w’ Reside, T. Thompson. Reserves, back, F. Bennett, R. Mclsaac; forwards H Lanng, C. Paku. Mr. W. Taylor will be the manager ot the team and a dance will be held in the Tinui Hall on Saturday night, at which the visiting players will be ’the guests of the sub-union.
