MINIATURE RIFLES.
MASTEBTON CLUB’S PRACTICE SHOOT. POSSIBLE BY P. RUSSELL. A further practice shoot was held by the Masterton Miniature Rifle Club last night, when about 35 members took part. P. Russell showed good form, returning a card with a seven-bull possible (70). R. Wellington 69, and H. K. Smith, J. Bouzaid and H. HUI each scored 68. Miss E. Joyce also returned a card with 68, followed by Miss N. Cotter and Miss Lili Pearson, with 65 each. The following are the top scorers (conditions, seven shots possible 70): — Ladies.—Miss E. Voyee, 68; Miss N. Cotter, Miss Lili Pearson. 65; Miss A. Beech, 63; Miss M. Oaklev, Miss Lois Pearson, 62; Miss E. Oaklev, 61. Men.—P. Russell, 70; R.‘Wellington, 69; H. K. Smith, J. Bouzaid, H. Hill 68; H. Oakley, C. Pickering, J. I. Jones, 67;; J. Whiteman, G. Leighton. 66. Shooting will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in the Foresters’ Hall at 6.30 p.m.
