OPERA HOUSE.

“WHY SAILORS LEAVE HOME” & “LADY FROM THE SEA.” An excellent all British doublefeature programme concludes a twonight season to-night at the Opera House. The first attraction is “Why Sailors Leave Home” and features Leslie Fuller, who is still vividly remembered for his fine comedy work in “Not So Quiet on the Western Front.” It is a picture bf broad comedy, farcical situations and some clever dancing by harem ladies. Bill (Leslie Fuller) is a sailor who has no success with girls and when the ship goes into port he decides to have a fling. He has saved a sheik's life ’and pays him a visit. Bill is given full charge of affairs. His treatment of the women creates uproarious situations. It is Leslie Fuller at his best. The second picture, another British talkie called “Lady from the -Sea,” is an engrossing and exciting story of shipwrecks, a woman’s vamping and the treacherous Goodwin Sand& Box plans for this splendid programme are now open at Vare’s or ring Theatre after 7 p.m.
