HOCKEY.
MEETING OF WAIBARAPA ASSOCIATION. ./■ - NEW H-UI.ES ADOPTED. Mr. D. Burgess presided over a wellattended meeting of the Wairarapa Hockey Association held in Masterton on Monday evening. The most important business was the adoption of a new set of rules, copies of which are to (be printed and sent to all affiliated clubs as soon as possible. Messrs. Burgess and Fostei- were appointed to report to the Wairarapa Ladies’ Hockey Association regarding a combined ball, to be held at the end of the season. The Stags Club was granted permission to play Victoria University on the day of their bye. ’ The New ‘Zealand Association advised that the Wairarapa Association’s challenge for the Nordon Cup was fourth on the list. .It was decided to write' to the Manawatu Association asking for a date, and for the match to be played on a Saturday if possible. In view of this a recqmmendation was forwarded' to the sole selector asking for a trial game to be played at an early date.
The secretary aekriowledged receipt of a donation from Mr. F. C. Bunny (Greytown). FIXTURES AND REFEREES FOR SATURDAY.
