SOUTH WAIRARAPA ITEMS MARTINBOROUGH. (“The Age” Special.) Mr. F. M. Perry has been appointed second engineer of the steamer Kaituna, one of two vessels bought recently by a firm in Hongkong. He expects to leave shortly for the East. Mr P. Ramsey has been visiting Wellington to attend the 'Synod. FEATHERSTON. At a meeting of the Red Cross Society, a letter was received from Mrs. Pickering, Hastings, thanking the society for the parcel of warm clothing sent. Several families had visited the rooms and had received clothing, jam, apples and other goods. Featherston Golf Club. The following is the result of the third round for Mr. Lang’s trophy, played at the Gumgrove links on 'Saturday by members of the Featherston Golf Club:—W. J. Crawford, 87, 20, .67; G.
