FIRST ROUND FIXTURES CONCLUDED. RESULTS OF SATURDAY’S GAMES; The first round of the Wairarapa Hockey Association’s fixtures: was completed on Saturday. Owing to the Park Oval ‘being closed for hockey, the Y.M.C.A. Swifts v. .Stars match was not played. At High School, Rovers and Stags played a drawn game, 1 all, after a very fast and interesting contest. Mauriceville were unlucky in getting beaten by 3/1 against Greytown. Carterton had a bye. LADIES’ GAMES. .Senior.— Gladstone beat Carterton, 1/0; High School beat Old Girls, 2/1Mauriceville beat Ramblers, 6/0- Greytown, a >bye. Junior.—North: High School A beat Technical School, '2/0; Old Girls B‘ v. High .School B, not played; Old Girls A, a bye. South: Greytown beat Carterton A, 1/0; Gladstone beat Carterton by default; Parkvale a bye. Six-a-side Final.—Senior: Gladstone A beat Carterton A, 1/0- Junior: Old Girls A beat Parkvale A, 1/0.
