SEDGLEY BOYS’ HOME.
REPORT OF MASTER AND MATRON. The master and matron of the Sedgley Boys' Home report, inter alia, for ■he May-June period, as follows: There are 15 boys in the Home. The heaah of the hoys is excellent. Percy William Bowman and Richard George Crossan have left, and William Daley and Ronald Lund Crocker have been admitted. During the month the Home has been visited by Mr. and Mrs H. O. Teogood and friend, Mr. and Mrs Hickson, Mrs Reeves, and Mr. F. Williams. The boys and Mr. Rutty much enjoyed the concert to which they were invited by the Ladies' Guild of the Church of the Epiphany. We are grateful to the Ladies 7 Guild of •St. and the Church of the Epiphany. The following gifts are acknowledged with grateful thanks:— Cakes, Mesdames Rutherford, Ninnes, Polson, Hickson, Baird, Anon. (2), Harriers’ Club Ball iCommittee, St. Matthew’s Girls’ Club, Church of the Epiphany Ladies’ Guild; jam, Mesa antes Hugh Williams, Barrer, Wm. McKenzie, Bell; meat, Mrs Wardell; sheep, Mr. 11. O. Toogood; lamb, Mr. J. S. Laing (Bideford); rabbits, Mr. E. S. Tomlinson; beef, Anon.; fish, Anon.; 2 hares, Mrs Boddington, and clothing, soap, fat (2 tins), Mrs Cave; swedes, Mr. A. Wyeth (Westmere); bread, Mr. Buchart; rubber boot heels, Messrs Hannah; 12 tons lime, Mr. D. Buchanan; 1 pair white blankets, Miss C. Morrison; 1 pair sheets, Miss K. Morrison; knitting stockings, Tinui Ladies’ Guild; mat and frying pan, Anon.
The secretary acknowledges the receipt of the following money: St. Mark's (Carterton), church box, £1 I6s 6d; Sedgley produce, £1 14s sd; maintenance, per Sedgley, £1 and £2 !?.0s; total, £7 0s lid.
