STREPHON SOLD.
PRICE SAID TO BE VERY SMALL. A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT. (Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 2. Sol Green, of Australia, sold Strephon to Gerald Deane, on behalf of himself and Somerville, Tattersall, who intend to race jointly. The price was not disclosed, but it is understood to be ridiculously small. Strephon ran a very poor race on Thursday and was the greatest disappointment.
