JOHNSONVILLE SALE.
At Johnsonville on Wednesday cattle sold on a par with late rates, but wethers and ewes showed a decline of 1/6 to 2/- per head. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report as follows; —’Suttle; _A medium yarding of good quality bullocks was offered. •Competition throughout the sale was keen at prices bri a par with last WeeVs rates: S’u female stoeli game forward. Vealers were in small supply and met with a keen sale. Sheep? The yarding comprised mostly shorn wethers and ewes, with a few pens of woolly sheep- Wethers showed a deslisa af per head as coinpared with last weetf's‘rates,• while ewes easier to the extent of 1/6 to 2/-. •Hoggets met with a ready sale at late rates, while spring lambs 1 met with good competition.
