In the Supreme Court to-day before the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers), Alter’d James Stanley Colenso, aged 32. a labourer, pleaded not guilty to c charge of murdering Robert "WillinTYi r!nr».lrbiirn nil 3. Evithiat in the Lower Oourt. The after 45 minutes’ deliberation, found Colenso not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter, with a recommendation to mercy. The prisoner was sentenced to reformative detention for three years.—(P.A!)
