ROADMAN KILLED.

FOUND UNCONSCIOUS BY FARMER. FATALITY NEAR GISBORNE. GISBORNE, November 1. Shortly before 8.30 p.m. on Saturday a man n'amed Davi'd Clark, a Roadman in the employ of the Cook County Council, was found fatally Injured on the bitumen road at. Makaraka about four miles from Gisborne. A nearby farmer heard a crash. He went out and found Clark, who was •unconscious and 'died .soon after. Clark was 'apparently struck from behind by an unknown motorist. Clark was 67 years of age and was bora in Scotland. He is believed to have no relatives in the Dominion.—(PA.)
