BASKETBALL.

MEETING OF WAIRARAPA ASSCffiEaSION. RECOMMENDATIONS PASSED. At a special general meeting of the Wairarapa Basketball Association last week,, presided: over by Miss O. R. Sutherland, the following recommendations. finm the executive committee wa» carried unanimously:— “(1) That the Wairarapa Basketball Association in future manage the affairs of seeoridary and senior grade basketball only; (2) That the executive should annually place teams in the A and B grades, taking into consideration the strength of each team and that at the conclusion of each season the leading team in the B grade should play the bottom team in the A grade for the privilege of .playing in the A grade in: the next year; (3) That a committee, consisting of Misses O. R. Sutherland, G. Matthews’ D. O’Donnell, Z. Aekerman and M. Rayne, be set up to frame a new constitution.”
