CARTERTON SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Carterton Horticultural and Industrial Society was held on Monday night, the president, Mr. W. H. Booth, occupying the ehair.

Hawker, A. King, F. M. Reynolds, Jos. Udy, J. Fisher; hon. auditor, Mr H. M. B. Trapp; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. D. Wallis; secretary, Mr H. Mortenson; committee, Messrs. A. Ingley, A. Broadbent, A. Pink, J. Harp, O. Gbodin, R. Priest, J. Udy, J. McKenzie, R. Tankersley, A. EL Goodin, J. Fisher, F. M. Reynolds, A. King, C. Sayer, J. Johnson, G. Warrington, C. Zabell, W. Candy, E. T. Beaven; ladies’ committee, Mesdames W. H. Booth, A. Pink, A. C. Feast, A. King, EL Eagle, C. Goodin, T. H. Hughes, R. J. Gayfer, L. H. Smart, C. Fairbrother, J. McKenzie, P. Hodder, F. M. The annual subscription was fixed at 10s.. the subscription to carry only one lady’s ticket in addition to the member’s ticket for each show.

The society’- spring show is to be held on November 28, 1930, and the autumn show on March 6, 19.31.
