Kidson) reported at 4 p.m. yesterday:—The anti-cyclone has now moved eastwards of the Dominion and a cyclone is approaching from the northern Tasman Sea; the forecast is for winds, easterly to northerly, moderate generally, hut freshening over the North Island: seas smooth. to moderate but rising north of East Cape; weather dull and misty in the northern and East Coast districts on the North Island, with rain developing and extending gradually over most of the Dorninion; temperatures mild ‘over the NortE' Island, but cold in the South.
