Mr. R. J. Young, conductor of the Masterton Municipal Band, has received the B grade test piece “Flying Squad,” a march by J. Ord Hume, set for the Dominion Band Contest to be held in Wellington next February. It is hoped to enter the Masterton Band for the contest. The A grade test march is also an Ord Home composition.
