A black hare, a type of animal that is rarely seen, was recently shot at Pudding Hill, in the- Ashburton district. With the exception of a comparatively few grey hairs on the breast, the hare, which was a doe, was entirely black. Its weight was just over eight pounds.
NEARLY ANOTHER CROSSING ACCIDENT. “If George hadn’t stopped the car the train would have been right into us!” ‘What made him stop?” “Well, he started coughing and pulled up to take a Pulmona.” Pulmonas give instant relief from coughs, colds, sore throat, etc. They kill germs and relieve inflammation. Pulmonas; 1/6 and 2/6 everywhere. *
