At a famous London restaurant recently a visitor noticed many new and striking bracelets tinkling as the women ate. One, worn by a lovely American woman in black and pink chiffon, was many inches wide, of diamonds and semi-precious stones set in an Egyptian frieze of figures against a background of diamonds. Another bracelet, also worn loose round the wrist, was of beautifully carved plaques of coral, two inches wide, joined by links of onyz and diamonds.
