ATLANTIC CROSSED.

GERMAN AIRMEN REAGH NOVA SCOTIA. FOG COMPELS A DESCENT. FLIGHT VIA ICELAND. HALIFAX, August 24. The German airman, Captain von Gronau, was forced down by heavy rains at Queensport Harbour, Nova Scotia, at 3.45 p.m., after crossing the Atlantic, from Europe, via Iceland and Greenland.’ Fog compelled the descent of the captain and his three cotnpanions and also the fact that their charts were not detailed sufficiently for them to make Halifax. They will proceed there probably on Monday morning en route for the United States. With the exception of the fog they experienced no difficulty.
