At a largely attended meeting of N.G.O.te of the Otago Regiment last night, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: “That this meeting of N.C.O/s of the Otago Regiment, realising the necessity of keeping its regiment alive and the necessity of its being in a position to fulfil its obligations to the Mother Country should occasion arise, affirms its intention of serving with the regiment on a voluntary basis during the temporary suspension of the compulsory training, provided that a return to the compulsory system is made not later than June 1, 1931.” (P.A.) ...
