MINIATURE RIFLES.
TUHIRANGI CLUB’S TROPHY SHOOT. (“The Age” Special.) The Tuhirangi Miniature Rifle Club held a trophy shoot on Saturday night. There was a good attendance of members and tho shooting, on the whole, was good. The Munro family were again in evidence, although their shooting, with the exception of Munro, senr., and D. Munro, was not up to the standard of previous competitions. However, they are a force to be reckoned with in future competitions. Stan Mclntosh registered the best score off the rifle (99). The following were the scores (limit 98): —Stan Mclntosh, 99, 2, SB; D. Munro, 97, 1, 98; K. C. Munro, 98, 2, 98; J. Atkinson, 97, 2, 98; T. Matthews, 96, 2, 98; Mrs. Atkinson, 92, 6, 98; Miss M. Munro, 97, 5, 98; Miss Mollie Munro, 93, 8, 98; Benjamin Hemi, 90, 7, 97; K. G. Munro, 95, 1, 96; G. Munro, 94, 1, 95; Miss Gwen Hall, 91, 4, 95; D. J. Mclntosh, 93, 1, 94; 8. Hall, 93, 1, 94; F. Munro, 89, 4, 93. On Thursday night a club match will be fired against Featherston, at Pirinoa.
