WEATHER REPORTS.
Mastertoh: Miss, R. Robinson reported at 9 a.m. yesterday: Barograph 30; shade temperature, maximum 55.6, minimum 34; terrestrial, 26; sunshine 7 hours; rain, 52.' points; frost, 4.4 degrees. Solway: Mr. H. M. Boddington reports that 57 points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hqurs up till 9 o’clock yesterday morning. The Government Meteorologist (Dr. E. Kidson) reported at 4 pan. yesterday:—The pressure is still high over the Tasman Sea and Eastern Australia, but is still low to the east of New Zealand, a, slight secondary depression is passing also in tho south; the forecast is for winds, decreasing temporarily and veering to the west in parts of the South Island, but again freshening from the south ,to-mqrrow, gale force still probable at times in exposed positions; still rough generally; weather still cold, squally and changeable, with showers at times in most districts, sndw and hail showers in parts of the eastern districts and on the high country. Sun rises, 7.20 a.m.; sun sets, 4.52, p.m. Lighting-up time: —5.19 p.m.
