For the Australia-Middlesex match, the weather is gloomy and overcast and the wicket seemed dead. Haig won the toss from i Richardson, Middlesex batting. There was only a handful present owing to the Derby. The teams arc:—Australia: Richardson, Kippax, Bradman, Fairfax, Grimmett, Hornibroo-k, Hurwood, Jackson, McCabe, Ponsford, Walker.
